i am a certified reiki master teacher of 33 years who came into energy work through a wide variety of life experiences. i am currently offering reiki and energetic balancing sessions, guided meditations and original tibetan reiki training.
i am rhea’s mother, and we have decided to pursue this work together.
as a teenager in the ‘60’s, i trained in avant-garde theater skills in washington, d.c. including visualization techniques, meditation, and energy projection - which culminated in a summer study program with the abbey theater in dublin in 1972. in college, through my studies of linguistics i lived and worked with a female elder of the lenape native american tribe - studying and documenting their language, culture, and traditional woman stories. she taught me an alternate way to interact with nature and the universe. after college, i became a river guide and ski instructor which allowed me to fully engage in a successful outdoor recreation career. marriage and motherhood shifted the energetic direction inward and i then focused on studies in natural healing and energy practices while simultaneously creating an external career as a licensed speech language pathologist - specializing in a variety of communication disorders.
energy work and creative visualization meditations have been a balancing influence and sanity guide throughout my life. while it was always sacred to my inner world and personal development until now, i felt that it was time to share, teach and support others who are seeking inner balance and healing. as a student of dr. ralph white for 25+ years in both meditation and reiki, and through continued practice and training with erna white after her husband’s passing, my depth of awareness has become vast. as my daughter began to use her gifts and knowledge in service, i was inspired to do the same.
i am currently offering reiki and energetic balancing sessions, guided meditations and original tibetan reiki training.
